The "boost on day 1 and day 15" rule

Don't sprinkle free boosts randomly. Use them on:

  • Day 1: the intro reel — sets the algorithm's expectations for your account.
  • Day 15: the launch reel — needs early velocity to break through.

Other posts grow on natural engagement.

How to actually stick to it

  • Batch-shoot all reels for the week on Sunday.
  • Use a scheduler (Meta Business Suite is free).
  • Reply to every comment in the first hour after posting — biggest algorithm signal.
  • Review insights every Friday and double down on what worked.
